it's time for resolutions
learn how to create animations and websites (ie. learn more Flash and Dreamweaver)
set up a new business online
run the Bridge to Brisbane 4.5km ... faster than last year. Maybe. Even.
find an enjoyable permanent job with a happy paycheque (though I love my current freelance one, being permanent with Super would make life much simpler)
buy a car and/or property with my darling wee Mike
& now I have told the world, I must avoid sheepishness by keeping these 2007 resolutions! So ... what are yours?
resolution 01 - update the blog
Images of Queensland
Getting an early start on the New Years resolutions, here's a few of my favourite images, snapped with my trusty old SLR Nikon over the past year, our first living in Brisbane. Happy Holidays and may 2007 rock for you all. Enjoy!
1 The view from the tallest residential tower in the world - Q1 on the Gold Coast, Surfer's Paradise

2 Idyllic beach (Tea Tree Bay or Point) and Button's dream holiday destination at Noosa, Sunshine Coast

3 Yes, this IS a polar bear and yes, I AM that close to it (with glass inbetween, naturally) at Sea World, Gold Coast

4 Xmas at our house (note super new TV and sparkly tree)

sorry
Just a quick note - I have been away for a long time due to my new job. I am freelancing fulltime for a haircare company doing some promotional and packaging design for them, so it has kept me super-busy!
If anyone still reads here - how are you all?
she's back, and she's brown!

Yes, I have finally been convinced to go brunette. Probably because I had 4 inches of mousey blonde regrowth and yellow ends ... eek!
And here's a cupcake ... not made by me .... but rather precious nonetheless.
It was delicious!

More later :)
oh well
The second interview came and went well, but sadly I didn't get the job.
I was a little upset at first - but at least now I can concentrate on my work for Games and/or look for something else to fill in the time. I had high hopes that this part-timer would help pay the bills, but it wasn't to be. So Mike will have to continue to pay those bills, hehe. He was a very supportive sweetheart through the interview process.
Thanks for your comments and well wishes guys! Maybe next time :)
