I've been struggling with a series of colds lately - not much fun but not life-threatening obviously, either. If nothing else having the odd sick day gives me a chance to sit in the quiet and think about things - do a few restful odds and ends that would never get done in the rush of regular life. Like post on this blog! Though I can't guarantee the coherency of the post. Here are some pretty spring flowers (ranunculi) I picked up last week - they are very cheery and the sort of lovely, natural object that, being in your home, can't fail to make you feel at least a little uplifted. Nature is a fabulous thing.
